D. Naga Shasidhar Reddy, popularly known as DNSR for his cinematic contributions.
DNSR the son of D Nagendra Reddy and Padma. From an early age, he developed a deep love for movies, sparked by frequent trips to the cinema during family visits Grandparents village ijeea. Encouraged by their praises for his recitation and imitation of movie dialogues, DNSR’s passion for cinema blossomed.
Despite his obsession with starting a career in the film industry and lacking interest in his studies, he heeded his father’s advice to complete his education first. After earning his MBA, DNSR embarked on his journey into the film industry. Since 2012, he has created several noteworthy short films, acclaimed for their informative content.
His notable works include “Fourth Weekend” (2012), “Missed Call” and “Anukoledu” (2014), “Aathmakatha” (2015), “One Side Love” and “New Year Cake” (2016), “Nenu Vadilina Neevu Polevule” (2018), and “Raithanna” (2019).
In 2016, under the guidance of SP Ake Ravi Krishna, DNSR created the impactful songs “Netra Danam” and “Save Girl Child.” His talent in short filmmaking earned him recognition, leading to an introduction to film director Nageswar Reddy. Impressed by DNSR’s skills, Nageswar Reddy offered him an opportunity as an assistant director for the film “Achari America Yatra” (2018).
DNSR aspires to direct commercial films that deliver meaningful messages, continuing his journey from kurnool to making a significant impact in the film industry.
